Ditto

Senior Software Engineer

Ditto is a peer-to-peer sync platform for building applications that work offline and sync in real time. I joined the Cloud Services team in 2022, working on the platform infrastructure and the Portal, Ditto's primary management interface for customers to configure and monitor their applications.

More recently I've been leading Forge, a no-code app building platform that lets teams without dedicated development resources build and ship Ditto-powered applications. It's a small, startup-style team within the startup and I wear a lot of hats.

● Scaled Forge from PoC to product. Unlocked a new market segment by enabling prospects without development resources to build and ship Ditto-powered applications.
● Architected Forge's web rendering engine. A declarative JSON-driven system for element rendering, data model binding, and action handling across web, iOS, and Android.
● Built the workflows pipeline and supporting backend services powering the broader Forge platform.
● Technical leader on the Forge team. Mentoring engineers, running architecture reviews, and setting technical direction on a small cross-functional team.
● Designed and developed the Ditto Portal. The primary interface for enterprise customers to manage access to and configuration of their Ditto applications at scale.
● Multi-factor authentication system. Implemented within a multi-tenancy customer model with customizable rules per-organization.
